How To Create Rlcraft Server

Well, RLCraft is the dark souls of Minecraft. RLCraft stands for "Real Life Craft", except that you don't start in a realistic world, but in a fantasy minecraft with a lot of new mobs, dangers, buildings, biomes, items (and and!) – and realistic conditions under which you try to survive. So your chance is as good as 0%, at least if you're here as you would in the normal survival mode of Minecraft.

RLCraft is actually a wonderful mod pack that changes the world, but also some textures and a lot of gameplay. The basic essence of Minecraft remains: you have to survive, craft and explore the map. However, every step must be taken into account, because in the beginning everything will kill you in one fell swoop. Crafting is also a little different – starting with the fact that you can't chop trees with your hand. Yes. Because that would be unrealistic, or have you ever cut down a tree with your hand edge? Take a look at the official, pretty fun beginner tutorial from the mod developer. For RLCraft to look like you in the video, you need to install additional mods (shaders, texture packs …).

RLCraft modpack includes more than 100 different modes that add new mechanics, items, craftsmanship recipes, gangs, structures and more to the minecraft world. New mechanics include location hit damage, a thirst bar, removal of healing through food, a temperature and seasonal system, an RPG-like skill tree tab and more. In addition, players can expect to come across everything that spans the dungeon-sized village of the Kingdom wandering. The world is also full of new and interesting creatures, both passive and aggressive, that significantly alter the flow of minecraft's traditional progression. And yes, there are dragons.

In the crazy and diverse world of Rlcraft, an adventure is an exciting prospect, but be prepared; This world is often cruel. Most enemy gangs can kill you in the blink of an eye if you're not geared enough, and things like brutal winter weather and scorching summer days kill players who don't pay attention. You have to work more hard for everything in Rlcraft, and even when you start to succeed, they can all be taken away from you at once.

However, while the modpack is quite harsh, it also includes ways to take a step forward about its dangers. There are new layers of armor and weapons that provide better protection than diamonds. Players have the chance to loot many of Rlcraft's dungeons and battle arenas, while finding special rings and necklaces that provide beneficial effects, such as health regeneration or damage resistance. You can also create heart containers that allow you to upgrade your maximum health. Is that strange predatory creature making trouble for you? Put together some chickens and bones to create a special treat that you can use to tame it and make it fight for you. If you succeed in destroying one of Rlcraft's deadly dragons, you may be lucky enough to find an egg on its corpse;on fire (or water if it came from an ice dragon) and voila — to its own scaly sky monster!

How the install RLCraft

Minecraft FORGE: The latest version of Forge for 1.12.2 should work, but in the case it breaks an older mod in this modpack, the version I have currently packaged with the modpack is forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2838-universal.jar

PARAMETERS:
I was able to test, the default 1GB of RAM that is allocated won't be enough.
Recommend allocating 3 to 4GB's of RAM. You can do this by going to Launch Options, enabling JVM Arguments, and changing "-Xmx1G" to "-Xmx4G". My JVM Arguments looks like this:

-Xmx4G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M

FILES: (For manual install, using the server pack only, which can also be used for client as well) Make sure there is nothing in your Mods or Config folders, then copy the folders over from this modpack into your Minecraft directory.

OPTIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS: I'd personally recommend the use of Optifine (USE E3 ONLY, F4 IS BROKEN AND WILL CRASH) OptiFine 1.12.2 HD_U_E3 (make sure for 1.12.2) and some shaders if your system can handle them to bring out the best with this modpack and Minecraft, and also the Chroma Hills resourcepack which I used for building this modpack and can be found here: http://www.chromahills.com/

OPTIFINE MOD WARNING: You MUST disable "Fast Render" or you will get the black screen bug when certain effects try to activate, also make sure you have at least "internal shaders" on in the shader settings, anything is fine, just not "none".
